Laser Vitreolysis Treatment

"Laser vitreolysis is a non-invasive procedure for treating vitreous opacities, also called floaters with a novel very low-energy Nd YAG laser..The laser  achieve “optical breakdown” and  vaporize floaters within the eye. It can be used in many cases where till now only vitreous surgery (vitrectomy) would have helped.

Vitreolysis aims to achieve a functional improvement. The final goal is that the patient is able to carry out his day-to-day activities without the floaters interfering in them.“
